Are you an enthusiastic Soft Fruit Grower?

We are proud to be working with a leading berry grower as they look to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Grower. The business has multiple sites across the UK but you will be based at one of their sites in the Berkshire/Surrey area.

The job:
You'll join a friendly and highly qualified team as you work with them to produce high quality and tasty soft fruit. You'll be expected to grow an excellent strawberry crop year on year and deliver production targets.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing of cropping strategy and delivering trials.
• Managing irrigation, pest and disease and biological activities.
• Controlling the glasshouse environment including energy, light and CO2 strategies.
• Leading the team.

The person:
Candidates will have worked on large scale commercial horticultural operations previously. Experience of working with protected crops is essential and experience of working with soft fruit is highly desirable. This job would suit candidates already working as a Grower or perhaps those who are currently Assistant Grower and looking to take a step up.
