An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of the UK's leading soft fruit producers to join their passionate team as Assistant Farm Manager. This is a great role for Assistant Farm Managers who want to work with a business that is committed to investing in its staff and also the latest innovation.
The job:
As Assistant Farm Manager, you would be responsible for assisting in the day to day running of a busy berry farm. Your duties would include:
- Crop husbandry and crop protection
- Staff and harvest management
- Budget management
- Planning the daily schedule
- H&S
The person:
We are looking for candidates who have previous experience of working in commercial horticulture. You must be familiar with fresh produce, experience in soft fruit would be ideal. You will be an excellent communicator and be able to motivate a team. You will also have experience in managing large teams during peak periods.
