Farm Operations Manager | Fresh Produce

A specialist fresh fruit grower is looking for an Operations Manager to lead a large and diverse workforce. Reporting into the Farm Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing performance to ensure effective delivery of quality, service and cost optimisation.

You will be responsible for day to day planning of labour, driving performance as well as organising daily operational / production tasks as required.

With experience of managing a large team within a fresh produce / grower operation, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe use of facilities and equipment, as well the efficiency and quality of the pick. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and GMP standards are essential.

To excel in this role, not only is it essential you have sector experience but you must be a strong team leader with superb communication skills and the ability to inspire and engage your team where necessary. You will also have a passion to mentor, develop and train all staff members to ensure the ever-growing success of the business.
