Technical Sales Specialist | Home-based | Fresh Produce

We are working with a very well established business with a strong reputation for providing an essential and effective service to the Fresh Produce growers both in the UK and Internationally. Due to some internal changes, they have an opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join the team. In this role you will be responsible for working closely with their customers, providing them with technical information about the products and selling to them based on their requirements and the effectiveness of your solution.

The Role:-
You will be responsible for driving the sales strategy for the business. Both within existing clients but also constantly seeking new businesses you can engage with.
You will need to work closely with the various departments within the business to ensure continuous supply of products to meet with customer requirements.
It is important to have a good working knowledge of the benefits the business can provide as this will be crucial in ensuring uptake.

The Candidate:-
Ideally, you will have worked in a role where you were selling products or services into Fresh Produce growers. A good working knowledge of Agronomy and being BASIS and FACTS trained would be a real advantage.
A proven sales ability and strong relationship management is crucial. This is a sales role first and foremost, but it will be driven by the solid relationships you develop and nourish.
This is a home-based opportunity but you will be required to travel both nationally and internationally on a regular basis.
