Technical Manager | Soil Science | North West

Our client is one of the most innovative and advanced horticultural companies in the UK. They sell a wide range of products to both retail groups and professional growers. Due to huge success and rapid growth, our client is looking for an experienced and passionate Technical to strengthen their already successful team and support the company across it's growing media range.

As Technical Manager, it will be your job to oversee the production of growing media to ensure the technical integrity across all products. You will lead the technical and quality team and constantly identify areas for improvement. You will also provide technical support to commercial growers across all growing media products. You will also be involved in new product development.

This is clearly a very specialist role and it is essential that this person has a background in horticulture, soil science of composting. You will have worked with commercial nurseries in the past and be familiar with various different types of growing media. You will be passionate and ideally have knowledge of PAS 100.
