Job Details

The University of Oxford Botanic Garden and Arboretum seeks an enthusiastic and experienced Arborist to join our team on a full-time basis. Based at the Harcourt Arboretum in Nuneham Courtenay, you will work to a consistently high standard of quality and safety to help us continue to develop the Arboretum into a world-class university arboricultural collection.

You will be involved in maintaining, developing and improving the collection within the Arboretum. You should hold a minimum of NPTC CS30, CS31, CS38 and CS39, a recognised level 3 arboricultural qualification, or equivalent experience in a public arboretum or botanic garden, together with excellent team working skills. It is expected that you are able to demonstrate knowledge of a wide range of woody plants.

The post offers a unique opportunity to join an enthusiastic team in a busy and vibrant department.
