Head Gardener in a high-profile private garden

Morton Hall Gardens are set in 80 acres of ancient woodland and meadows, looking out over unspoilt Worcestershire countryside from its position on top of the Arden Sandstone Escarpment.

Designed for all seasons, the gardens feature one of England’s most beautiful fritillary meadows, sumptuous herbaceous borders, a striking potager, a majestic woodland rockery and an elegant Japanese Stroll Garden. Eight acres of garden and park combine historic and contemporary features.

The gardens are open for groups by appointment and on selected Open Days, including a three-day tulip festival in early May. Visitor numbers are constantly growing, and the gardens have been featured repeatedly in all major horticultural magazines and on TV.

We provide excellent facilities and pride ourselves on our commitment to achieve the highest standards of horticulture and presentation. We are passionate about our beautiful gardens and work as a team with clearly assigned duties and responsibilities.

We are looking for an equally passionate, energetic, and experienced hands-on Head Gardener to lead our garden team of assistants and volunteers in close collaboration with our Grounds Manager and Garden Administrator. The position reports to the owner.
