Do you have a clear commitment to excellence and want to inspire others?  If so we are looking for you to join our Further Education teaching team! We are seeking a talented individual with the relevant experience and knowledge of the Sports Turf Industry to provide instruction and lecturing to our Apprentices and Further Education students. 
 
You will be required to teach all aspects of the Apprenticeships in Sports Turf and Golf Greenkeeping, as well as other related topics to Further Education students on full-time, part-time and short courses, through lectures and practical sessions. You will also contribute to the management, assessment and recruitment of students as well as have input into curriculum development. Whilst teaching is held at the University College, you will also be required to visit students in the workplace and support the students’ progress by working closely with employers. 
 
To succeed, you will have relevant and recent industry experience within the sports turf industry and a desire to educate and develop a range of learners at level 2 and 3. Up to date technical knowledge is vital to allow the sharing of best practice to both students and team members.  Ideally, you will hold or be working towards the completion of your teaching qualification.  It is essential that you are willing to work towards the assessor and internal verifier qualifications as these will be a requirement upon appointment.
