Farm Manager

Would you like to be part of one of Europe's leading fresh fruit businesses? We are currently working with a business as they seek a motivated Farm Manager to join their team in Kent.

As Farm Manager you will have overall responsibility for the operation and financial goals of the farming team. It will be your job to maximize profitability, productivity and efficiency whilst delivering optimum crop performance.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Planning the workload in order to maximise the crop
- Managing your team, discussing objectives and reviewing their performance.
- Reviewing operational costs against budgets.
- Ensuring all equipment and machinery is well maintained.

We are looking for candidates who have experience of working in a similar role within the fresh produce industry. You will be a strong communicator, lead by example and be able to inspire your team. You will also be results focused and continuously look for ways to improve the performance of the operation.

This is a great opportunity for those who are already Farm Managers and looking to work in a more commercial environment or you may be an Assistant Farm Manager or Harvest Manager who is looking to take a step up.
