Job Details

Our client is a new expanding company which is now in need of an office manager / admin operative to take over the day to day running of operations within their office.

This candidate will be working alongside the Contract managers and site team leaders.

Experience in the landscaping or building trade (administrative side) would be helpful but not essential.

They are looking for a candidate who is keen to learn and help progress the business.

This person should be someone who can learn the role quickly and help provide new initiatives within the business to create efficiencies and increased profits.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate great attention to detail, and the ability to build positive working relationships with customers and colleagues. Reliability, punctuality, and self-motivation are all key requirements for this role. Experience in customer service is preferable but not essential.

Daily Duties Include:

  • Speaking to clients on a daily basis, processing enquiries and as the first point of call for all new customers, be an ambassador to the company.

  • Invoicing and payment tracking. Following up on outstanding payments and processing funds once received.

  • Working along side contracts managers to organise work schedules and materials.

  • Speaking with site operatives regarding admin requirements that may need resolving.

  • Managing and creating excel sheets alongside our Customer Management System for ongoing company management.

  • Managing and processing H & S info to keep the company up to date with accreditations and ongoing quality / performance audits.

  • Ordering & Coordinating of stock, managing delivery schedules and driver for materials out of site and direct to customers.

  • This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a varied and hands on role.

  • A pro-active approach is a must, as you will need to chase people and bringing tasks to completion - not waiting to be chased.

  • A high degree of organisation to manage time and tasks is also essential and good attention to detail is a must.

Job Type: Full Time Contract, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE
