Sales Representative

Our client is one of the leading nursery stock suppliers and have been producing plants for over fifty years. They specialise in producing a broad range of high-quality British plugs and liners to include Alpines, Ferns, Grasses, Heathers and Herbaceous plants.  They are currently seeking a Sales Representative selling to the Garden Centre sector, developing new and existing accounts.

Do you have a good knowledge of the Garden Centre sector?

Do you have the ability to source new leads and generate business growth?

Key points

• Pricing enquiries and prospecting for new business
• Securing orders and developing existing business in an agreed geographical area
• Following up outstanding quotations and negotiating orders
• Meeting with clients in the UK and abroad if required
• Gather and sharing product and market information

Must haves

• Good horticulture knowledge
• A good understanding of the garden centre market
• Good planning, administration and IT skills
• Be a self starter keen to reach and exceed targets
