A fantastic opportunity to join a family run group of garden centres who are seeking a highly motivated Garden Centre Manager to manage, motivate and develop a small team of staff. Their Garden Centres are widely known for being great value for money, having a friendly knowledgeable staff and stocking an extensive range of horticultural products.

Key points

• To liaise with the General Manager on the operational efficiency
• Planning, budgeting, personnel and customer service
• Stock control based on seasonal forecasts, daily management of existing stock & wastage
• Leading a small team of staff by example
• Ensuring excellent standards of customer sales and service

Must haves

• At least 3 years garden centre experience at management or assistant manager level
• The ability to manage, motivate and develop the team
• Experience of using and EPOS system
• Able to maintain and develop the highest standards of presentation and customer service
