Nursery Grower/Propagator - J372

Our client is a family owned business backed by an experienced team providing high quality Aquatic Plants and exceptional service since 1965. Their Customers are Garden Centres, Landscapers, Designers, Environment Agencies and Internet companies who use their extensive range of container grown aquatics from plugs to 30 litre mature plants. They are currently seeking an enthusiastic skilled Grower to ensure top quality plants are produced on time in the volumes required.

Do you have experience in commercial ornamental horticulture?

Do you have technical knowledge of growing principles?

 Do you have experience of leading a team?

Key points

• Propagation by seed, cuttings and division
• Planning and stock evaluation for coming season
• Checking and maintaining the water system
• Weed and pest control in cropping and non-cropped areas
• Maintaining Glasshouse environments

Must haves

• Previous experience in nursery production
• Be self-motivated with good organisational skills
• Understand the importance of high-quality plants
• Keen to take on a good level of responsibility
