Garden Maintenance Manager

Tulip Landscapes London Ltd is a family owned garden design and landscaping company based in Queens Park London NW6. We have been operating for over 15 years servicing high end private and commercial clients throughout central London. 

We are looking to recruit a Garden Maintenance Manager to oversee some of the existing gardens and teams on site and from the office. The company designs new gardens and manages the ongoing evolution and maintenance of established gardens. We are looking for someone who would enjoy this and has had proven experience of practical horticulture in private gardens ideally as a Head Gardener.

THOSE APPLYING FOR THE MANAGER POSITION MUST HAVE A DRIVING LICENCE AND EXTENSIVE, PROVEN HORTICULTURAL EXPERIENCE. APPLICANTS WHO HAVE TRAINED IN ESTABLISHED LARGE GARDENS ARE ESPECIALLY WELCOME. 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 

*Full driving licence 
*Practical horticultural experience in gardens of at least 3 years ideally at a management level 
*RHS level 2 horticulture or NVQ level 3 or equivalent 
*Good written and verbal communication skills – you will need to be able to communicate with clients on a regular basis to understand and fulfil their requirements 
*4 days a week minimum 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 

You will need to be flexible in nature and happy to turn your hand to what ever is required on the day to ensure things run smoothly. You will be working with and overseeing the existing gardening teams and providing core training where necessary. 

You will be liaising with clients and suppliers and overseeing the evolution of gardens including new planting, pruning and bulb planting. 

You must be able to use your initiative and have good attention to detail and high standards. We are looking for people who are able to work in a team and show flexibility and commitment as this is an essential aspect of the work. 

Salary according to experience.
