Our client is one of the leading suppliers of plant material to the British Landscaping Industry producing an extensive range of quality plants. They are currently seeking a Contract Grower Supervisor and a Container Manager as the business continues to expand.

Do you have experience of growing HONS with good husbandry skills?

Are you enthusiastic, practical and driven with an eye for detail?

Are you a people’s person, able to motivate your team?

Key points

• Overseeing all potting activity to required quantities and deadlines
• Understand seasonal requirements and to liaise with the sales team
• Plan for weekly space requirements
• Provide irrigation and crop husbandry requirements
• Contribute to the development of the company’s best practise and innovation

Must haves

• Experience of growing HONS
• Flexible approach with excellent problem-solving abilities
• A people’s person able to develop the team
• Confident IT skills
• Ideally spraying certificates and forklift license
