We are working with an innovative agricultural business that are based in Cambridgeshire. They are a large scale, commercial farming business that offers employees the chance to grow and develop in a progressive and supportive environment. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Technical Manager to join their friendly team.

Our client grows field vegetables, potatoes, sugar beet and cereals to the highest standard and supplies the major retailers. They have a reputation for producing quality crops and are highly regarded by others in the industry.

As Technical Manager, you will be focusing on the seed potato and potato processing side of the business. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Crop monitoring, grower relations & contract discussions
- Seed crop inspections
- Group food safety responsibilities
- Customer technical relations
- Store management support

You will be based on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border and you will be travelling to meet growers across the East Anglia area.

We are looking for strong agricultural technical managers who have experience of working in a similar role. You will ideally have worked with potatoes in the past and be able to identify tuber disease, however we still want to hear from you if you have worked with vegetables/fresh produce. FACTS & BASIS would be beneficial. A UK driving licence is essential.
