Location:  London – Work from home. Salary:  £23,500 DOE   Additional Benefits:  Overtime Available (1.5), Pension and Profit Share Bonus. Hours:  40 hrs per week  

Our client: Is a busy and fast-growing company in Leicester. However, due to ambitious growth plans they are now recruiting for extra staff to join our Maintenance team, based in London. This is a hands-on, customer centric position and candidates need to be flexible, physically fit, hard-working, and have a strong can-do attitude.  It is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for a chance to prove themselves and progress within a growing business.  

The company have been providing plant displays using both tropical and outdoor plants for over 40 years, and count some of the country’s biggest companies as their customers.  They take pride in their service levels, and work hard to encourage long-lasting, strong relationships with customers.  

About the job: This is an interesting, varied, and exciting opportunity to join a busy team in a rapidly expanding company.  As a member of our frontline maintenance team you will be travelling throughout the London area maintaining interior/exterior live plant displays and floristry; they provide a livered van, so a clean, full UK driving license is essential. You will be watering, feeding, cleaning, weeding and pruning live plant displays and other features such as living walls, so ideally you will have experience of indoor and/or exterior plant maintenance techniques, including working at height. A knowledge of individual plant’s requirements for optimum growth in different environments would be an advantage. Their wide range of clients include blue chip offices, top hotels, restaurants, retail centres and showrooms, with the ultimate objective of over delivering on customer service expectations.  

They're looking for: Attitude, personable, hard-working, can-do attitude and working to strict deadlines. Flexibility, wide range of tasks, some early starts and self-management. Physical fitness – the role is hands on and can include lifting/moving items safely. Ability, you’ll need to be comfortable with driving, proactively solving problems, communicating with customers and ideally experienced/passionate at working with plants.
