Claremont Fan Court School is a co-educational independent day school for children aged from 2½ to 18 years. The school is set in 99 acres of historic landscaped grounds of the Claremont Estate in Esher, Surrey.

We are looking to appoint an experienced groundsperson to lead and work as part of the in-house grounds team in maintaining the grade l listed decorative landscape, lawns, paths, roads, woodlands and boundaries of the Claremont estate. As a school with an excellent sports offering, you will also be responsible for overseeing the delivery of pitch maintenance by a contractor.

Educated to NVQ level 3 or above in horticulture you will have a detailed understanding of health and safety regulations and environmental management regulation. You will have previous management and leadership experience including budget planning and control. Experience of working in a school environment would be desirable but is not essential.
