We are looking for an experienced Senior Arboricultural Manager to successfully develop and oversee the management of this department within our Norfolk based clients business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the following Arboricultural Departments which consist of Operations Management for Arboricultural Working, Surveying/Estimating and Administration Departments. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Operations on a regular basis by attendance of meetings and reporting on financials of the department of the business. You will need to have experience within Forestry and Utilities Arboricultural Sectors.

Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
To provide onsite guidance and assistance to the above Management, Surveying and Arboricultural teams throughout the operating area of the business.
Working with the Operations Management to ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Human Resources and general company policies and procedures throughout the Company.
Overseeing the development of management and to hold their reviews in conjunction with company policy.
Working with arboricultural budget to ensure targets are on course to be met and achieved and expenditure is within budgeting guidelines.
To carry out on site safety auditing against ArbAC scheme standards and carry out post works quality audits to ensure compliance with quotations submitted and BS3998:2010
Provide expertise and technical advice to the Bid Writer with technical knowledge and pricing skills during the tender.
Provide expertise and ideas to attract new business and promotion of the department.
Schedule and ensure compliance and complete thorough examination of arboricultural climbing and rigging equipment to the requirements of LOLER 1998 (and any subsequent revisions).
Preparation and overseeing the companies Trainee Arborist Scheme.
Ensuring knowledge of current industry best practice and all associated knowledge is maintained at an excellent level by attendance at CPD events and training.
Meeting with the Arb Association Auditing External Panel to achieve the company's continued status of the Arb Accreditation by providing necessary documentation and assisting and ensuring Arboricultural Operations Management are aware of the audits taking place in preparation for site visits.
Review and updating of policies and procedures in conjunction with the Health and Safety Manager, Human Resources Manager and Finance Manager.
Regular liaison with clients to continue to maintain and build existing relationships.

Person Specification:
Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Project.
Driving Licence
IOSH desirable
Arboricultural and Surveying Qualifications
