Our client is an award-winning family run garden centre in rural Nottinghamshire. Inspiring beautiful gardens is at the heart of everything they do and the centre is quite individual, inspirational and unique both in the interior design and the approach to garden retailing which builds on their strong reputation for quality plants from the best of British Nurseries.  They are currently seeking a Plantarea Supervisor or Manager to join the team where you will cover a wide range of daily duties.

Can you impart excellent plant advice to customers?

Can you deliver a good level of housekeeping in all areas?

Do you have an eye for detail presentation and display?

Key points

• Managing the main shrub area and maintaining high standards
• Ordering and monitoring of stock according to seasonal demands
• Dealing with incoming deliveries efficiently and effectively
• Leading and inspiring a small team of staff
• Providing outstanding customer sales and service

Must haves

• A comprehensive knowledge of plants and garden retailing
• Extensive horticultural experience which includes plant buying
• An aptitude for plant merchandising and care
• The ability to thrive in a busy environment
