Nursery Spray Assistant

This leading UK amenity nursery, growing and supplying the landscape industry nationwide, has a vacancy for a full time Nursery Assistant and are looking for someone with training and enthusiasm for commercial horticulture to join their highly skilled production team.

Key Duties:
Assist in the production of crops on the two nursery sites.
Monitor crops for pest and disease.
Assisting in the watering of crops.
Learn, understand and assist in feeding using fertilisers.
Assist in general plant horticultural care including mechanised trimming.
Assist with wholesale picking when needed.

Requirements:
Full Driving License
Training and experience of horticulture, at least RHS Level 1

Job Type: Full-Time, permanent, 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday with occasional seasonal weekend work by team rota. Working outside.

Wage: Negotiable, dependant on experience and relevant qualifications.
