Our client is the leading company in the construction of swimming ponds and natural swimming pools.  They are currently looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic landscaper to take a long-term role in the company.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will ideally have at least 2 years’ experience in hard and soft landscaping, although less experienced candidates would be considered. Knowledge of water features and pond construction is an advantage, and good knowledge of small and large machinery is highly desirable. Prior knowledge of swimming pond construction is not necessary.

Good organisational skills are essential, as are excellent communication skills, the ability to work successfully as part of a team, and good problem-solving skills.

This is an opportunity to get established and take a long-term leading role working on these innovative and high-profile projects, often working in stunning locations, and to extremely high standards.

Salary initially will be £24,000-£27,000 according to skill and experience. Most work is in the Home Counties, but stay-aways will often be required, and a fair degree of travel will be involved.

Full driving licence essential, as is a professional appearance.  Candidates will initially need their own transport (paid mileage), although a company vehicle will be available after a time. Landscaping qualifications and CSCS card an advantage. References will be required.

Must haves

  • Minimum 2 years experience in hard and soft landscaping
  • Good knowledge of large and small machinery associated with landscaping
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent problem solving
  • Willingness to travel
