Are you a graduate sales person looking to further your career in the sales arena? Do you have a track record of selling to independent retailers, garden centres, gift shops, kitchenware shops etc? Are you able to travel across the South of England (~ Chesterfield and below) if so, we want to hear from you.

About Our Client:
Our client is a family run business with a great reputation for supplying quality products to their customers. They are an established business, having been around for the over 70 years and have some great brands. They import many of their products and have a dedicated NPD and innovation team to bring the best product range into the business. They focus on houseware, tableware and cookware and sell to retail and catering/food service customers. They use quality materials in their products to ensure customer satisfaction and continued sales.

About the Job:
This role is all about sales and account management. You will use your natural outgoing personality and rapport building skills to get to know key customers and approach new businesses about our clients range of products to maintain and grow accounts and develop new business. You will enjoy travelling around, meeting a variety of accounts to make sales and opening new business. Although sales and account growth is what this role is all about you will also need to be organised and have strong admin skills - you will need to be able to route plan, schedule follow up calls and appointments, submit orders etc.

The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' experience in a similar role or perhaps be on a graduate scheme and be looking to make a step up into a bigger sales role. Ideally, you will have a product/brand background and be interested in home/cook categories. As our client are very focused on the quality of their products, being able to be passionate about the products you are selling will be a massive advantage. You will be able to prove your ability to sell to a variety of customers and business owners, show that you are tenacious and determined, as well as self motivated and organised.

Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have commercial focused experience, live in the Midlands/South of England, be prepared to travel and show you sales ability.
