Our client has a family owned Garden Centre offering a fabulous shopping experience in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Sourced from Scotland where possible they have an extensive range of products which will allow the customer to create their ultimate garden and outdoor/ indoor living space all under one roof with an award winning restaurant. They are currently seeking a Garden Centre Manager to take ownership of the business working closely with the owner who is largely absent.

Key points

• Driving sales and maximising profits in order to consistently meet KPI’s
• Leading and developing your team with a clear focus on driving exceptional performance
• Ensuring high standards of stock management and control are constantly maintained
• Identifying trends in sales and profit opportunities and translate in to sound action points
• Working closely with the owner delivering excellent customer sales and service

Must haves

• Strong team leadership skills and commercial abilities
• A proven track record of managing a similar large retail outlet
• A keen eye for detail to drive commercial performance
• A positive and enthusiastic approach able to deliver high standards throughout the store.
