In this role, we are looking for someone who can implement and manage tree risk management strategies. You'll lead on the establishment of a tree risk management system and activity across the Council working with colleagues in parks and countryside, assets, highways and with tenants and those with third party agreements You will ensure that the methodology and recommendations set out in the tree risk management system report by The Environmental Partnership (TEP) are implemented.

You'll need to be qualified in Level 4 to 6 in Arboriculture or related discipline. 

Your experience should include, working on own initiative, to deal with complex issues and develop innovative solutions and then successfully leading on this change. Experience of development, procurement and effectively managing contracts is essential. The successful applicant will need to display strong networking and stakeholder management skills, you will need a track record of high levels of communication skills, both orally and in writing, in order to disseminate complex information to a wide range of audiences including non-specialists.
