Horticulture and Sports Turf Apprenticeship Teaching Opportunities

Our Horticulture, Landscaping and Sports Turf division is highly successful and our apprenticeship provision is growing fast. We are seeking Lecturers and Programme Managers to help our students to maximise their potential and make positive progress towards their timely success, future study and employment. We are passionate about horticulture and innovative in our approach to delivery, which results in outstanding achievement rates, a high external reputation and students achieving awards outside of the college curriculum.

Lecturers will deliver high quality teaching, learning & assessments in both practical and theory lessons in the classroom and visiting students on placement with employers and at Programme Manager level, you will create, manage and deliver well designed and challenging programmes to develop highly effective teaching, learning and assessment experiences.

The ideal candidates will possess a range of industry specific qualifications and will have knowledge and experience in Horticulture or Sports Turf. We are looking for people with enthusiasm and passion for the subject and the ability to communicate this to our students. We have many training programmes available for prospective candidates including initial teacher training and we pride ourselves on taking the time to develop our staff through a range of CPD activities.
