Shaw Trust is a progressive charity on an exciting journey to help five times more people over the next five years. For over 30 years, we have supported disabled and disadvantaged people to make positive changes to their lives through training and employment, and our ambitious plans need the right people to help us transform many more lives, in many more ways

The successful applicant will have knowledge of the sector gained from either currently managing a garden centre or being a progressive department manager looking for their first appointment as a centre manager. They will use this experience to drive the business forward, engaging with the community to help build our presence and raise our profile with the people we serve.

You will have a track record of achieving targets and very high standards of customer service and presentation skills. An excellent communicator who has the credibility and skills to motivate a team, you will have a passion for our charitable aims and the enthusiasm and motivation to achieve them.

As well as being a commercial Garden Centre, Palmer Gardens trains more than 40 disabled people to enable them to turn their lives around and your role will be key in ensuring our continued success.
