Our client is a lovely family run independent garden centre based in a very pretty area of East Sussex and their mission is to provide top class gardening products and quality grown plants to the neighbouring community and beyond.They pride themselves in giving their customers a great experience whether this be in the restaurant, shop or plantarea.

They are expanding and need to find a Plantarea Manager with retail vision who can grow with them. Their new manager will need to manage the plant offering so not only will you manage the department but you will also plan and buy the plants as well as merchandise and sell them.

Essentially they are looking for an experienced manager from a medium to large plantarea who can demonstrate a hunger and passion for horticultural retailing that they can bring to the plant area insuring that overall standard remain high and be innovative and forward thinking.
They would like someone who can demonstrate great visual and merchandising display skills.
People management and a very customer focused approach is essential for the role.
There is also a duty manager requirement in this role.
Experience of large centre or small group buying would be advantageous.

Salary is negotiable to attract the best.
