Glendale have recently been awarded the Orbis Contract based within the county of East Sussex. Reporting to the Regional Director and based in Bexhill on-Sea, the successful candidate will be responsible for the effective running of all aspects of Grounds Management for the Orbis Contract.
You will be taking responsibility for the implementation of work planning systems on the contract along with, vehicle and machinery management. The successful candidate will also undertake the effective implementation of the company & Health & Safety policy and associated procedures. The role will also require involvement in HR processes and helping to establish training programmes for employees. The successful candidate will be required to build solid relationships with the Client Officers, amongst others.
The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership ability, enthusiasm effective people management, communication skills and will have proven experience in contract management. Candidates should ideally have, or be working towards, a Horticultural or Landscaping qualification and have a good understanding of IT systems.
A full driving licence is essential for this post.
