Job Details
An exciting opportunity for an up and coming Food Technologist or experienced Technical Manager. The Food Technologist vacancy is a fantastic opportunity to develop in a fast-paced environment, safeguarding the quality and integrity of the brand and their products by managing supply bases throughout the UK, Europe and rest of the world by ensuring compliance to food safety and legal standards.
The role involves supplier approval, attendance at production runs and ensuring that suppliers comply with policy. You will also work with Buyers and the NPD team to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Essential skills and experience:
Experience of high care/ high risk products on the Technical team.
2 years HACCP experience
Able to write product specifications.
Experienced auditor with knowledge of BRC global standards for food safety.
About you:
You will have a food related degree or higher.
Strong technical core-principles with a commercial outlook.
Self-starter who can work alone and as part of a team.
Desire and willingness to travel
Problem solving attitude
