QC | Fresh Produce | Fruit

We are working with a fresh produce supplier, that has fresh fruit coming in from around the world. They have their own farms and are looking to recruit a passionate and motivated QC to work in their ripening facility based near Dartford.

The Job:
As QC you will be responsible for checking the quality all fruit coming into the business.
You will make decisions on quality and organise the sorting of goods if and when required for customer specifications.
Prepare a weekly schedule of arrivals and communicate within the business.
Oversee the port team.
Participate in weekly quality meetings.
Occasional customer visits if and when required.

The Candidate:
Proven experience working within a fresh produce ideally fruit quality environment.
Knowledge of HACCP and sampling practices.
Excellent communication at all levels.
Able to manage and work effectively within a busy team.
Good IT skills

Flexible approach to work as this role will be working Sunday - Thursday 40 hours per week
