Short-Term Maintenance Gardener

A lovely client of ours is looking for a short term Maintenance Gardener for their 2 acre Garden in Surrey. This role is for 6 months. Accommodation will be provided.

Responsibilities to include;

• Garden and Grounds Maintenance (lawn care, pruning, weeding, tree care etc.)
• Security of property when client is away
• Small woodland area
• Some formal lawns and flower beds
• Fruit and Vegetable production (ideally organic)
• DIY & Repairs
• Use and Maintenance of Machinery
• Liaising with Contractors
• Occasional driving duties (airport runs etc.)

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, high standards, and be flexible in their approach. You will be IT literate, as you will be liaising with the client over email at times.

A full, clean driving licence is essential, and candidates are required to have an in date DBS.

Must have a keen eye for detail, be flexible in their approach and capable of looking after all aspects of the garden. 

Accommodation;         1 Bedroom studio cottage

                                    Separate to the main house

                                    All utilities covered (except phone and TV)

Working week;            5 Days / Week

                                    8.30am – 5pm

Salary;                          £30k Pro Rata (Gross Per Annum)
