Full & part-time hours
Are you an experienced gardener looking for a new opportunity? Three new positions are available at Chatsworth, assisting with the care, cultivation and maintenance of nearly 100 acres of garden as well as the delivery of various garden development projects, including those designed by Tom Stuart-Smith and Dan Pearson.
Using your knowledge and experience of horticulture you will be involved in a variety of general and specialist horticultural tasks including: hard landscaping, lawn, path and meadow maintenance, path and drain improvements and care of extensive new plantings.
With your excellent team working skills and proactive approach to work you will also help guide and mentor students to ensure the team are engaged, motivated and contributing towards shared goals.
You will be fully supported in your role and will receive training and professional development ensuring our gardens team are ‘Always Improving’ in line with our core values. You should possess good general knowledge of horticultural practice, supported by relevant practical experience, including use of a range of garden machinery. A horticultural qualification is desirable.
Full-time and part-time positions are available as follows:
• 40 hours per week, from 8.00am to 4.30pm
• 32 hours per week, from 8.00am to 4.30pm
