Job Details
We are recruiting for one of the leading chilled food manufacturers based in Kent and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Technical to join the business and take overall leadership of the technical strategy.
The Job:
As Head of Technical you will be site lead for the technical function and you will have drive and passion for innovation and quality. You will be a strong leader and be able to influence people throughout the business and customer base. You will ensure the site technical function is always ready for unannounced audits. You will establish the key KPIs' and report on them for the business. You will work closely with the major retailers customers to ensure the business to striving for the best quality possible.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be already working in a senior technical role, and have vast experience across food and fresh produce.
You will have level 4 HACCP and Food Safety.
Experience of working in a high care environment is essential.
Experience of working on a multi retailer site in a customer facing position.
BRC and lead audit experience
Strong team management experience
