About us
London’s eight Royal Parks are some of the best-loved and most beautiful spaces in the world. The Royal Parks are Hyde Park, The Green Park, Richmond Park, Greenwich Park, St James’s Park, Bushy Park, The Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill, and Kensington Gardens. We also manage other important open spaces in the capital including, Brompton Cemetery, Victoria Tower Gardens, Canning Green and Poet’s Corner, and we maintain the gardens of 10, 11 and 12 Downing Street.

About the role
This is your chance to be part of a forward looking and dynamic park management team responsible for the management, development and high presentation standards of Hyde Park. You will be supporting the team undertaking a range of park management functions, supporting technical and operational areas including assisting with events, planning, monitoring, supervision and liaison with event organisers. Your responsibilities will include monitoring across a range of contracts including landscape maintenance and acting as the park lead for a variety of projects and initiatives.
About you
To succeed in this role, you should hold an appropriate qualification in horticulture, landscape management or conservation, or have extensive knowledge and experience of public green space management and amenity and horticulture. You’ll have the ability to think creatively and to use innovative solutions to solve problems in variable and diverse situations. You’ll need to be enthusiastic and passionate about parks and be able to fit into the existing dedicated team.
It is essential that the post-holder is flexible and willing to work outside of standard office hours to support business delivery, including evenings and weekends.
