Site Engineering Manager | Fresh Produce

Due to our client's extraordinary growth and success, they are creating a new Site Engineering Manager vacancy and looking for a motivated and multi-skilled Engineering Manager to join them at this exciting time.

They are a leading fresh produce contract packing and logistics business who provide a complete end to end service via state of the art facilities and transport.

You will lead all aspects of engineering activity and asset care within the business and ensure that it assists the delivery of an effective operation. It is critical that you ensure conformance to all legislative requirements, codes of practice, best practice and health & safety requirements for the safe and efficient operation of the business, including machinery, buildings and services.

We are looking to speak with ambitious Engineering professionals looking to grow their career. You will have the ability to think about the future; automation etc. and would be capable of putting the business case together and running said projects.

As Manager you will be responsible for developing and leading a small team of Engineers. However, you will still have the understanding of tooling and the ability if required to assist the team with maintenance/repairs as and when required but not likely to be your day job.

It is essential that you have experience in a high speed/volume manufacturing or production-type environment and experience of PUWER assessment and management. Offering an excellent package of £50K - £60K working a core hours week, although flexibility will be required.
