Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

The Company:

Our client is one of the UK's leading suppliers of fresh produce, growing a variety of salad and vegetable crops for both retail and wholesale customers.
With a long tradition in horticulture and farming, all of their produce is grown, graded and packed to the highest standard, therefore they are looking for a candidate who is equally as passionate and meticulous.

The Job:

Our client is looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team based at their main facility in Bedfordshire. It is preferable that a candidate has an electrical bias, as well as previous experience working in a maintenance job, either within a fresh produce or food manufacturing environment.

The chosen Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be part of a three-man maintenance engineering team, also consisting of a Senior Engineer and a Supervisory Engineer. The hours will be days Monday to Friday, however given the nature of the role and industry a candidate may be asked to work the occasional Saturday, therefore they must be flexible.

If you are a diligent, proactive and enthusiastic Maintenance Engineer, then our client wants to hear from you! In this job it is also essential that you have a good understanding of PPM, COSSH and Continuous Improvement tools and techniques to aid you in this fast paced environment.
