The Old Farm is a 240 acre Private Estate located just 2 miles from the historic Cotswold town of Burford and 7 miles from the vibrant market town of Witney in Oxfordshire. Whilst primarily a Private Residence it is also the proud producer of  quality meats for the local pubs and has an expanding business.

A full time Gardeners position has become available, at the main residence. This is a great opportunity to join this young dynamic team. Reporting to the Head Gardener, you will be responsible for meticulously maintaining and developing 6 acres of private gardens in this new prestigious garden, boasting formal and informal areas with a fully stocked walled garden producing kitchen produce, herbs and cut flowers. There can be an opportunity of variety and cross over into the farm side if this was of interest, but not essential.

Gardening requirements:

• Good plant knowledge is vital
• Kitchen garden experience is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• A polite and professional attitude with good communication skills
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence

Qualifications are not essential but desirable. Salary depending on experience, plus paid holiday and training opportunities.

Start date 1^st March.
