Job Details
We are working with an expanding importer of fresh produce and ingredients, who are looking to strengthen the team with a highly experienced customer facing Technical Manager. The role will report into the General Manager and you will manage the technical function proactively delivering the technical agenda for customers.
The Job:
Be responsible and implement a robust raw material system.
Build strong and proactive relationships with all customers and growers.
Manage audits, sites visits, and be leading the business with best practices.
Work closely with the Procurement team to manage varieties, grower and country supply to ensure all due diligence is in place.
Work with technical teams in global supply base with regards to quality and NPD.
Management of the technical KPI reports.
The Candidate:
You will be an experienced customer facing Technical Manager, and have a minimum of 5 years' experience within a food / fresh produce technical role.
HACCP, auditing and food safety qualification would be advantageous.
Experience of dealing with customers is a must have.
