Full time Groundsman / Gardener

<p>The property comprises a wedding venue with its formal gardens, a private property with its own lawns and garden, extensive fields, a woodland, a greenhouse and the grounds around the 5 further on site cottages.</p> <p>The wedding venue is seeking fresh ideas to enhance its gardens and looking for somebody with a collaborative approach and a good understanding of plants, borders and manicured lawns that will bring the wow factor all year round. The candidate must understand the importance of high standards and first impressions for members of the public that visit the venue.</p> <p>The key responsibilities of the Groundsman/ Gardener will be the overall maintenance of the grounds including the wedding venue and private property gardens, fields and woodland. Strong knowledge and experience in ground-based tree work is required and as such, it is essential that applicants possess chainsaw certification for this role. &nbsp;</p> <p>The estate owners and the dynamic management team wish to work closely with the groundsman and their ambition is to develop this country estate into a beautiful park therefore a good team player with good communications skills and a positive and approachable character are necessary.</p> <p>Applicants for this position should have clear enthusiasm for maintaining and enhancing the garden and must take pride in their work.
