They have an exciting opportunity for a Horticultural Purchasing Manager to join the team.

Key points

• To build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers
• Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring the price and quality of service
• Forecast market trends and identify changes which could affect margins
• To manage the supplier selection process based on price, quality, capacity & reliability
• To lead and develop the purchasing team providing smart objectives 

Must haves

• Excellent negotiating skills able to communicate at all levels
• Strong numeracy IT and analytical skills
• Be self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure
• Good knowledge of purchasing and supply chain systems
