Senior Technical Manager | Food Manufacture

About our Client:
We are working with a leading multi-site food manufacturer where you will lead the Technical function including Technical Services, Raw Materials and Hygiene teams, this role isn't for the faint hearted, but will be very rewarding.

About the Role:
This role is a Senior Technical Manager position, where you will lead and develop the technical business plan for the site and continuously improve quality standards for the business, you will be fully accountable for the product safety, product quality, legality and integrity for the business. You will manage a very large technical team and hygiene team for the site, you will own the technical KPI's for the business and ensure the business is at the forefront of any technical innovation.

The Ideal Candidate:
For this role you will be currently working in a Senior Technical Manager role, ideally you will have a degree in food science / microbiology / food technology. You will have very strong leadership skills, the ability to drive continuous improvement, and have excellent understanding of food safety legislation and controls.

Minimum Requirements:
For this opportunity you must have excellent technical experience and knowledge across a high risk category.
