Knowledge Exchange Manager | Cereals & Oilseeds

We are looking for a brilliant and experienced professional in the Cereals & Oilseeds sector to join a well-established and dynamic business currently leading the UK with up to date research in agricultural sectors. Their research and market trends are then communicated to growers, producers and farmers UK & EU wide in an easily digested format where applicable to better optimise the production of the food we enjoy to date!

The Role:

In this role you will be leading the execution of a well-researched business plan and providing up to date, market leading information to farmers and producers across the NE. To ensure that the information provided is of use, you will be travelling around the North East, meeting with producers and understanding the priorities and stresses that are prevalent in their areas. Therefore, able to tailor advice, feedback and research into areas that will be most useful.
You will also be monitoring how research is received and differs in your region. Feeding back to the national board and a Senior Knowledge Exchange Manager. This will ensure the national database is reliable and as current as possible.

The Successful Candidate:

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
Ideally practical experience giving presentations, educating or presenting to large groups of farmers and producers.
A strong knowledge of Cereals and Oilseeds based on practical experience or a thorough knowledge of the industry.
BASIS and Facts qualifications would be advantageous.
Excellent Microsoft Office, communication and relationship building skills will help you succeed in the region and the role.
