A genuine career opportunity has arisen within a family run business based near High Wycombe and Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire.  This well-respected company has been established for over 50 years and holds garden/property maintenance contracts throughout the outskirts of London.  The company specialises in garden maintenance, soft landscaping, communal cleaning and general estate maintenance. 

Due to continued success within the company, a career opportunity has arisen for a promising Junior Gardener to help carry out general garden maintenance on a variety of properties, to the company’s usual high standard.  The company offer career progression opportunities for hard-working and committed employees.

Suitable candidates will have some knowledge and a genuine interest in herbaceous plants, shrubs, basic pruning techniques, and the ability to identify weeds.  Spray certificates PA1 and PA6 would be beneficial but are not expected at this time.  Applicants with experience with common garden machinery is desired; strimmers, mowers, hedge cutters and blowers. 

Candidates should have a positive attitude towards their work and colleagues, be reliable, punctual, physically fit, and well presented.  Applicants will ideally hold a full UK driving licence.

Typical working hours are 06:30 to 16:00/16:30, though there will be expected seasonal variation.  Benefits include a pension scheme, continuous on-site training, uniform, 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) and a bonus scheme.
