An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified Arborist to join our comprehensive in-house Estates Team overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the School’s historic estate, including 350 acres of grounds and woodlands, 60 acres of which comprise a School farm providing permanent pasture to traditional breeds of cattle and sheep.

The Harrow School Estates Team prides itself on providing the highest quality of workmanship across its estate. We are seeking a highly skilled Arborist with an appreciation and understanding of working in and around conservation areas and landscapes of historical interest.

NVQ 2 Arboricultural and NPTC qualifications for chainsaw use, climbing and aerial rescue, full driving licence are essential while Ariel Tree Rigging and First Aid qualifications are desirable.

Applicants should be enthusiastic, be able to work outdoors in all weathers and able to work unsupervised.
