Shift Manager

The Company:

Our client is a large second generation soft fruit farm based in Norfolk. Over the years, they have grown and expanded their business into different areas such as food processing and freezing. They are now the UK's largest IQF producer and are looking for a Shift Manager to work in their freezer factory.

The Job:

We are looking for a hard-working Shift Manager or Production Manager to manage and control all activities within the manufacturing process of the factory. You will be working both early and late shifts, rotating with the existing Shift Manager. Due to this role being in a freezer factory, you must be prepared to work in a cold environment. The contract is for 48 hours per week, and weekend work may be required.

The Candidate:

The candidate must be experienced in every aspect of factory leadership, from Health & Safety, Continuous Improvement, Team Management and Operations Strategy. Given the nature of the role and business, it's imperative that you are friendly, hard-working and flexible. Experience working with fresh produce, soft fruits or frozen goods is also essential.
