MorePeople are excited to be working in partnership with a high end and well-established family business as we help them to appoint an enthusiastic Orchard and Cider Production Manager. The farm was established in the 1950s with high quality top fruit production being the main focus. Today, the orchards cover approximately 40 acres and produce over 160 different varieties of apples, including many heritage and rare varieties.

The Job:

As Orchard and Cider Production Manager you will be involved in various areas of the business including orchard management, cider production management and local promotion of the business. You'll also be responsible for organising seasonal/part time labour.

The person:

The ideal person will be:
A self-starter who is passionate about producing high quality fruit.
Experienced in orchard management or assistant orchard management.
A knowledgeable cider (or juice) maker.
Experienced in working to set budgets.
Organised, good at multitasking and happy to help out in other areas of the business.
Ambitious, dynamic and go-getting.
Very strong at building relationships and in front of customers.
