Senior Sales Executive | Exhibiting, Events & Marketing | £Competitive
We are working on behalf of a very forward thinking and interesting business who is responsible for some of the largest agriculture and agribusiness events taking place throughout the year. We are helping them add to their Senior Sales team to help them grow their prestigious events year on year all over the UK.
The fundamentals of this role will revolve around driving continuous improvement and growth across two of the UK's major agricultural shows. This will be done by delivering on stand, advertising and sponsorship revenue within an agreed budget. This will be achieved by business development, meeting clients and sustained contact throughout the year. You will also benefit from managing and growing existing contacts via relationship building and key account management.
This role will also be an opportunity to step into management as you will have one direct report straight to yourself and in busier times, potentially another. You will be given the opportunity to pursue your own advertising and sponsorship opportunities to try and yield new sources of revenue. This role is working as part of a larger team and you will be communicating regularly with the rest of the business reporting on successes and developments along with being given guidance on how best to progress.
For this exciting role, we are looking for candidates to have the following:
A proven track record within exhibition sales or a strong sales or selling environment, ideally around 3-5 years.
A background or knowledge of the agricultural sector, how it operates and the companies within it.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills alongside great experience with Microsoft Office packages.
This role offers an excellent basic salary and commission on top to make a great OTE package.
