Are you an arable and crop expert looking to merge your technical knowledge with sales and marketing?
This business is at the forefront of new product development within the agricultural sector and are looking to add to their very successful team on the commercial side of the business. The Opportunity


We are looking for a brilliant crop manager who can take the new products currently being developed and bring them to the commercial market place and succeed in making these new varieties a success. For this we are on the lookout for a mix of a great technical ability and understanding of the crops and varieties but also the commercial mindset to communicate with all levels and be able to turn your knowledge into sales and translatable figures. Relationship building will be an absolutely crucial factor for this role and will enable you to build trust with your clients, backed up with your industry knowledge.
This role will also see you looking at the marketing of specific varieties, implementing strategic plans and helping the head of department with financial and business targets throughout the year.


The Successful Candidate


To be successful in this role we are looking for the following characteristics:
A degree or similar qualification in a relevant subject such as agriculture or agribusiness. Or relevant working experience to a similar level. Coupled with great

Really good in depth crop and industry knowledge enabling you to speak with confidence on the subject and its current affairs.

A good commercial background and experience in some form of target driven sales and with that the experience in handling key accounts and relationship management.

BASIS qualification would be desirable.
