HORTICULTURAL RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT

Since 1989, Horticruitment UK have been leading specialists in the recruitment of professionals within the Horticulture and land-based sectors.  The sister company to Horticruitment UK, English Country Gardeners, specialises in placing full-time permanent garden staff on private estates and within commercial companies throughout the UK and abroad.

Due to continued expansion, English Country Gardeners require an additional recruitment consultant to join the existing team at their office, based in a rural location close to Ashford, Kent.   

It is important to us that our consultants have a good working knowledge of the horticultural sector as well as some experience in a customer-facing role, i.e. sales, business development, recruitment, customer services or similar.  Applicants must have excellent communication skills and be able to manage clients and candidates of all backgrounds and levels with positivity, courtesy and a confident telephone manner.  

Applicants must have a good working understanding of Microsoft Word and Outlook, and the ability to learn how to use our in-house CRM system effectively, following training.  It is of paramount importance that our consultants possess the ability to communicate with clarity and accuracy in writing.  Consultants must be highly self-motivated in order to manage their workload effectively so as to achieve personal targets.

The position offers an interesting, varied and rewarding working environment; developing genuine long-term relationships with both clients and candidates alike.  In return, we offer excellent earning potential for successful candidates of OTE £35,000 by way of a basic salary, uncapped commission and a bonus scheme.
